It bloomed on shorter scapes this past year. Since I have grown it for just three years, I don't know if this was a one-year occurrence (it was a bad year for many). It is a very attractive flower. I don't see any of Curt's more recent intros with awards. I wonder if he bothers to nominate them anymore.
