I planted my jumbo EE on 3/5 and she broke ground already, I started her in the house in a smaller pot to be re-potted outside in May, now this morning I see some roots on the top of the soil. She's in a 10" pot and I planted the bulb about 3" deep, This has never happened to me in all the years I've grown them. Whats up with this one? Thank you for you thoughts, Christine

Thats happens to callas too. Sometimes the roots are kinda disorientated sonetimes and think they are up side down and grow up.
I read that somewhere.
