Hi funchi and welcome to NGA!

Your tree produces pods .. look for green sausage like things. Or if some pods are already breaking then look for fluffy white material .. the seed are in there.

Welcome! funchi777

NGA is a friendly place.

Pseudobombax ellipticum is such a beautiful plant to grow. And the flower? Wow!

Where are you located? Is/are your plant/plants outside when it blooms? What color were the flowers?

I have 4, but only one has bloomed so far. It is white flowered and blooms in the winter, when it is indoors. And I've never got a seed pod. I'm hoping one of the other ones will be pink flowered. Time will tell.

Do you grow other caudiciforms?

Is there a question to go with your photo?
