Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Redheaded Hussy')

This is new for me this year, planted in a huge pot and happy enough to bloom this spring. I bought this for my red headed grams, who has never been a hussy, but laughed at the name all the same.

Stats for this year: 15" scapes, 4 buds total on two branches, 8 total blooms.

I didn't realize that the pot it is in had clogged drainage holes until after a torrential rain and I worried about root rot. RHH came through just fine.

I like the height on this plant (low 30s), as well as the bright red color. Makes a statement, whether singly or in clump. In 2015, I had rebloom.

just put it in the ground last year and it has not bloomed yet,but it has put up a cpl. scapes so I will get to see some blooms this year.
