Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Wind Frills')

'Wind Frills' has never attained anywhere near its registered height of 34 inches and the bud count is always low. I don't like blooms in the foliage, and this one does just that on a regular basis. When it does get some height to the scape, it leans, badly. In my garden, it is an okay pink, but a cultivar I would not recommend.

Mine is rarely as tall as registered either, & the flowers too heavy for the blooms, but the blooms are never down in the foliage at least. Only an average bud count-less than 10 per scape probably. The blooms are big though, always look good though & a pretty pink, but I wish it didn't slump making it look even shorter than it is.
