I got this one this spring as a bonus and was thrilled to see it settle in and bloom this summer. The fans weren't very large, yet the blooms were impressive. Scapes were short, which wasn't surprising as a first year planting. I didn't try to set pods on it the summer, nor did I try the pollen, so I can't report on fertility.

Two blooms...

It is a favorite here.It looks a lot like Laura Harwood but is taller and an all around better plant.

I added this a year ago but so far it hasn't bloomed. I'm really hoping for blooms next summer. I love the color so can't wait for blooms nodding

I saw my first blooms on this plant this past summer - pretty, but not as impressive as those I had seen in the photos that caused me to buy it! I'm hoping that after another year in the garden the results will be better; that has certainly been my experience with other daylilies.

I agree. Second year seems to be better.

2nd year in my garden 2020, it bloomed ok, but multiplied like mad. Not a lot of blooms, and I did not measure, but they sure seemed bigger than 5". It is in a bit of shade, so I may move it in the spring to more sun and hope for more blooms.
