I wish it were a bit taller, but its merits (rich color and striking watermark eye) are well known. Has been a good increaser. Here it is after some sun:

This is a great plant. I have it in full sun and it reaches its registered height. Long bloomer. It is quite vigorous and is pod and pollen fertile. I would probably benefit from some afternoon shade, as the booms tend to suffer, but once the early evening rolls around, it appears to recover. It is rather unique.

This is a photo of Jerry Hyatt in my garden. Here, it actually grew beyond its registered height of 27" to be 30". It had a bud count of 11 this year on 2 way branching. I have grown it for 3 years now and it has been a moderate increaser. The blooms have been consistent in color and size held above the foliage. It is a keeper for me.

The pattern eye inherited from Tet Trahlyta is like a magnet and draws me to it every time! It is registered as being Semi-
Evergreen, but goes fully dormant here. We will most generally have an extended dry spell most summers, so it will also
handle periods of drought well. I agree that it might prefer some afternoon shade, but mine does very nicely in full sun.
This one has a permanent home here. Can't say enough good things about it!

I planted JH in April 2021. I was very excited to get this plant as I love the look of it! No bloom until this summer, 2022. But after building up to 3 fans, it had a nice solid bloom season from July 6-31 with 33 blooms. Unfortunately, JH caught a bad case of rust and was down to 2 fans by October.

2023 update, JH bloomed from July 9-31, with only 18 blooms, a little more than half of last year's production. But the fans increased from two to five, so next year should be a better show.
