Daylily (Hemerocallis 'When I Dream')

This was my first year for When I Dream. It performed beautifully and bloomed for some time. I was very pleased for a first year plant.

My favorite red dip. beautiful and an outstanding plant.I have a seedling from it and ROSE F KENNEDY that I will post a photo of later>

Another oldie but a goodie. I still grow this one after 20 years. It is a reliable bloomer. It is very consistent in its appearance. Hardy in Zone 5.

Showed up this year with more intensity than ever. Not a tall plant.

When I Dream does well here despite a shaded location. It has been here around four years. Nice flower and plant.

This lacked vigor for me, did not increase and bloomed just off the ground. I moved it but no improvement and finally tossed it.

I still have it, and this year it showed itself with good bud count and vivid flowers. A bit short, though.

So if I have both parent plants on this one there's a chance of this baby?

Anything is possible. The goal is to get your own unique flower. Go for it. Maybe you will get the seed addiction too

A chance in how many thousands? But still how many other nice plants will you get while trying?
