We've fed our 4 dogs the Small Breed formula and switched TODAY since one dog has seizure issues. We switched to Victor, 5 start food and 1/3rd the cost! But will be considering other alternatives. Just wanted our dogs off Blue fast.

"FDA considers acceptable levels of lead in bottled drinking water to be 5 ppb (parts per billion). The three Blue Buffalo pet foods were documented with lead levels at 200 ppb in the Blue Wilderness Chicken Recipe for Small Breed Adult Dogs, 140 ppb in the Blue Freedom Grain-Free Chicken Recipe for Small Breed Adult Dogs, and 840 ppb in the Blue Basics Grain-Free Turkey & Potato Recipe for Adult Dogs"

"Blue Buffalo will not comment on the pending litigation, but confirmed that they DO NOT test their pet food products for lead content.

At this time, the proposed lawsuit is only that – a proposed suit. At this time there is no publicly available evidence to support the lead contamination claims."

God, what a nightmare, poor animals. I think we need to show everyone to the vet, they now need special food to remove lead from the body. Poor dogs, I'm so sorry:(
