Oh, how I wish there was a truly red iris! The ones we have are beautiful, but it seems like they're always really dark and often have purple or orange in them -- but I love them anyway. I've come up with ten that I've grown, but I must confess that I've already gotten rid of some of them in order to make room for new introductions. But the ones I still have are definite keepers!
MARCHING ORDERS - Ghio, 2010 - This one is now my absolute favorite - love that strikingly bright gold beard!
NEBRASKA BIG RED - From the Jedlickas - My second favorite. Just love the ruffles on this one!
CHIANTI CLASSIC by Terry Aitken - My third favorite -- This was a very pleasing color combination!
DOUBLE DOWN - Mike Sutton
HOUSE AFIRE - Ghio
RED HANDED - Ghio
RED SKIES - Ghio
DYNAMITE - Schreiner's, I believe
GRAND CLASSIC - Tasco
POPSTAR - Barry Blyth - I didn't care for the form on this one, but the color was unusual and bright.

LOVE that Rustler! It glows! Nebraska Big Red is on my wish list - I already have the order filled out, just need to figure out how to pay for it!!
I only have one red so far, and it has been pretty nice. I got it from Schreiners a couple of years ago, and grew like crazy and I have already had to split it: Indian Chief
Vintage Port was registered by Marky Smith in 2005. It may not have been introduced yet. I think she mostly introduces through Aitken's, so you might check their site.
