I have had this one for many years, up here in southern Manitoba. It is always healthy and vigorous. Increases well, divides easily. Really has a nice glowing color. Blooms for me a bit later, and has a nice long bloom season. One of the good ones.

I have this planted where it no longer gets enough sun to bloom. But in its heydey it was a great performer, and rebloomed here.

I have had 'Spanish Glow' for 4 years now, nothing I recall about it is outstanding. It was an early purchase from Wild's. I have a note saying the plant is "renowned for its bud count" , but I don't know where that information came from, it has not shown a high bud count in my garden. It does get rust in my garden .
This is what the plant looks like now in my garden.

Here are a couple of photos from last year :

It looks like the blooms are sitting very low and even down in the foliage a bit.

Spanish Glow has been in my garden for about 12 years. It is reliable and pretty hardy. It has some of the smoothest texture of any daylily that I have seen. It is very diamond-dusted. Bud count is 10 to 14, but it makes a lot of scapes when a good clump forms.

Yes, to my eyes this daylily is very pretty. And in a year when half of my Dl didn't bloom after a move, this one bloomed and re-bloomed. Wish all my daylilies performed as well.
