I love this cute little flower. I purchased it two years ago and it bloomed the first year. It didn't bloom last year, but I had a large number of daylilies not bloom last year.

This year, I transplanted PBF and it seems happy in its new home. It started blooming last week,

I have 3 scapes with maybe about 10-15 buds on each. The scapes are about 24-28 inches tall.

I am just hitting mid season here in Zone 5b and so it is early this year.

I do like the petite fans.

My plants are in their second summer here. Don't be fooled by those tiny blooms, this is a definite back of the border plant. Just happen to be doing garden demo/renovation and have a picture of a single plant. Measured foliage at 30 inches high and clump at 46 inches (foliage tip to tip) wide. 12 scapes on this one, measured 42 inches to scape fork and 50 inches to base of top flower. I'd call the foliage width medium, and there is nothing petite (except the blooms) about an established plant. Bloom time was way early this year, and it's about spent. I can only suspect the dry and really hot spring/summer so far had a hand in that. Last year it bloomed for 6 weeks. I love this CV! Scapes are thick and strong, no deadheading necessary, and blooms are profuse. The challenge is making sure it's placed appropriately. The only thing you can grow behind it would be Hosta's, perhaps. Lol!

The acorn delivery system sometimes takes a little longer, but I think very few delivers are missed altogether. I just threw one in so you won't have to worry.

Thanks Larry! Wasn't worried, just curious if the info I gave was insufficient.
