One of my oldest & most loved daylilies. I love it so much I shared it with a friend who loves it just as much as I do.

Tani may be registered as an evergreen but it is very hardy for me. My friend is further north and finds it hardy too. It copes very well with our cold, mostly snowless winters and wildly fluctuating Springs with no issues.

Tani is both pod and pollen fertile although not excessively so in a pot.

The flowers are large and always open perfectly. I've had mine in a container for years and it is perfectly happy. My friend put Tani in the ground and it's increasing nicely.

It blooms early for me typically and I always look forward to seeing Tani each Spring. Highly recommended!

2023 now and I have had Tani for over 25 years. It is still in the same, now somewhat undesirable, location Sighing! It blooms fairly late for me but considering everything I'm OK with that. The many buds open to a wonderful display of quite large blooms but I find the foliage not so good most years. It sits beside Strawberry Candy, also a Sev but doesn't compare well.
