We still have a few dirt roads left around here. He has my sympathies!! And a giggle for the two tow trucks! I've been in a one tow truck situation. Not my vehicle.

It did rain most of the day yesterday and is cold and windy this morning.

Sally not only will she not go down but now she thinks my spot on the couch is hers.

It is raining this morning, with a high today projected to be 45 F or 7 C. We did not receive much freezing rain, and what we got was overnight, and has now melted. A friend is having a solstice party tonight with a bonfire and fireworks, so I hope the rain stops by then. We won't be having our outdoor party tonight if it doesn't

We live on a dirt road, but thankfully it is high and dry even in spring. The township maintains it, and does a good job.

I hope everyone is safe from any bad weather, and I guess Ginny will just have to find a new spot to sit.

I've never had a white Christmas so I don't know what I'm missing.

66/42 not raining as hard today, wind is a constant 20 mph with heavier gusts. Weather service is concerned about falling trees with the wind and overly saturated soil.

I hope you don't have to deal with falling trees Will!

After lashing rain last night, the sun is peaking out now and 60F. It is really squishy in my garden.

DH and I are treating ourselves tomorrow by going to see Shen Yun, traditional Chinese dance show here in B'more.

Yesterday was a wild and windy day all across BC, trees down and power outage, we lost ours at about 5 pm, until 9:30 pm, happy it wasn't longer like in some areas. We have 2 gas fireplaces so we wern't cold, and we had just bought 2 LED lights, they turned out to be really good, they stand on a table, you can tilt them, hang the up, they have magnets so you can stick them on anything metal, they light up a room really well. Sally, we got about 5 inches of snow overnight, so we may have a white Christmas after all, about 28F, not so windy today.

Most of our snow is now gone only patches left. The storm wasn't anywhere near as bad as "they" were saying it would be. Never had any wind and the temp barely made 40 yesterday. We did get a lot of rain, without the rain gauge hard to be certain but I'm guessing at least 1 1/2". The temp went up more overnight and was 48 this morning. Down in the 20's now and everything is freezing back up. The grass is crunchy...

We were 75 f and sunny today! 🌞

The kids got here around 5 and the grandkids play ball almost non-stop with the dog. Holly loves kids. She tosses the ball to them and they toss it and she catches it. Just like with is. They all finally went to bed a couple minutes ago. It's going to be a crazy week

The Solstice party was great fun. The bonfire was lit and fireworks set off, despite the rain. Thankfully it was relatively light rain by that point. We have a little ritual whereby we write the things we want to go away or cease on a piece of paper. All our wishes are put in a cardboard box and are burned in the bonfire. Poof, all those worries and problems are gone
Then indoors for a big farm meal, made predominantly from produce from our neighbour's farm. Yum.

Yesterday it snowed a few inches, turned colder. Today is sunny and bright, with a high temp of 21 F or -6 C. We are going out to do some last minute shopping later today.

I love that solution for all the worries!
