Our old dear friend, Tony the Pony, had to be put down April 9, 2019, Tony was the mount for thousands of children over his 35+ years as the pony used by several trainers to teach English Riding and Showing in New Jersey. He came to live with me four years ago when he was retired and his owner was moving and ask us to take him and board him so my daughter and SIL nieces could continue their lessons here at the farm. Lessons were few and far between as the girls had other interests in school and so, Tony became my companion. We had a wonderful relationship and so much in common. He was also very old for a Pony (no one is sure how much older he is than 35). The vet who has cared for him for as long as I can remember was not even sure how old he was. He had a large following and we loved him with all our hearts. He is so missed.

This was posted in his memory by one of his friends on Facebook yesterday.
This one is of him and me last winter having our morning hug.
thank you for sharing my sadness.
