We love to talk about all aspects of weather, the effect on our gardens, and on our lives. It's a good place to keep a record of weather in our gardens from year to year too, so for that reason let's try to stay as close to the topic as we can. Please join us and tell us about your weather.
A bit chilly this morning, only 13. My chionodoxa are in a bed next to the stone patio and buried under a mountain of shoveled snow. Be a while until I see them this year!
Minus 4C/25F with 20cms (8 inches) average snow pack currently at nearly 7.30 a.m.,, both of which are improvements on not so long ago. The snow pack has gone down by about half over the last week or so.

Yayyyy spring
I finally gave up last night because nothing stuck in my posts.
53/32 and partly sunny today. It's warming up here. I'll probably be hit and miss right now - much longer hours at work. I'll be thinking of you all though. I try to read but might have shorter comments. Caffeinating now. Have a great day all
It is cloudy now, but is supposed to clear later this morning, with a high of 46 F or 8 C! A heat wave We have more snow left on the ground than Sue. I will have to take a ruler out and stick it in to measure. There has been melting, though

Sure is spring like here, bright sunshine, calm winds, high will be around 60 F, shorts and sleeveless tees kind of weather. The snow is rapidly disappearing, back yard is very soggy.
54.39 Partly sunny. Winds out of the S @ 5 - 7. Hoping to get outside later today. Feels Spring-like, which compels me to clean up the gardens and work on my tan, as well. My weeds are already growing in the grass. Mild Winters sure do have their pros and cons.
Tonight, cloudy with 60% chance of rain after10pm. Expected accumulation of less than 1/10th of an inch.
Spring is springing in Canton, Ohio!!!
......and the pièce de résistance
.... doesn't the dormant turf just set it off so pretty?
Funny you should mention it, Linda......actually I love to do windows! It's the only domesticated chore I'll do with a happy heart, and in a mild climate, I'd be whistling while I work!
Want to go outside very badly, in today's mild temperature, but my stinking cell phone battery is too low!
