Picked some of these up today at Costco, looking forward to trying them, any suggestions?

That's one I never heard of before; very pretty! Apparently a cross of amaryllis and nerine. I remember years ago growing nerine. These apparently will keep their foliage when blooming. Are they a bulb similar in size to an amaryllis? Will you grow them in a container?

Bulbs are approximately 2" tall, circumference 4". Yes I will be growing them in a container. Not able to find much growing info, other than they like dry feet.

I posted a question on these last year after I bought some from Michigan Bulb. They grew but never bloomed for me.

Not at this point, lots of green leaves! Hoping with the cooler temps and changes in photoperiod I will see some blooms.

I have the same issue with an orchid I've had for 5 years. I'm told that threatening them with a salad fork may work. Smiling

Thanks, going to try and overwinter them like an Amaryllis, not a lot of info out there on them.

Very nice looking blooms. I'll be sure to get some of those bulbs when I see them next spring. BTW, I must have missed my amaryllis belladona blooms. It's usually late in the season, but not this late, I believe.
