This is a seven month old seedling, first bloom here this here this year. Nothing special but it has begun.
(LILLIAN'S SEISMIC EVENT (name pending) X PISMO) 5" bloom.
I'm already drooling with anticipation! And thanks so much for starting this off -- I'm so looking forward to seeing pics of all your beautiful seedling blooms!
Nice one Fred! Can't wait to see more seedling images.
I changed the subject line to April 2019 Seedlings to get the 2019 monthly threads going, hope that's ok.
It looks special to me, Fred. Congrats.
Only 7 months old, first bloom, and very pretty with
perfect form no less. First blooms for me are usually
subjected to quite cold nights, and bloom haphazardly.
Thanks for the correction Char, and thanks for the comments everyone.
Can't believe its suppose to be in the 40s at night here this week, we have had lows in the high 60s and highs around 82-84.
The contest seedling HB32-17 had two blooms yesterday April 14. Very early for a mature seedling. This is last years photo due to bad weather yesterday.
Hope to find a name for this soon, its a mini and sib to LILLIAN'S FAULTS AND ALL. HB29-17 (LILLIAN'S RAINBOW AT DAWN X SUBURBAN WREN) X LILLIAN'S ALABAMA STUD) 2.50 - 3 in bloom with about 40 buds and 5-6 way branching. Another early blooming mature seedling, been blooming on several clumps for about a week.
I did not know if I should post under Larry's post or not so I will continue here.
All these are first blooms and should improve as time goes on.
