I'm not much of a gardener myself, but I sure do like to take pictures of @dirtdorphins gardens. And I couldn't find a thread that I felt okay about spamming up with shots.

So please, spam away here and let's see what's happening with your bulbs this spring...

Here's a pair of tulips. Or a two of pairlips. Or something...

Okay, here's what I mean

The bluish syles kinda match the muscari--but it's hard to get a decent pictures showing that. And, they're kinda on their way out now (spring bulbs are so ephemeral). I'll try again next year.

Love the light here, Dirt. A spledid image. Lovey dubby

Sorry about your continued trouble with the narcissus bulb fly. I dug and destroyed a couple of narcissus cultivars yesterday. I thought I had things under control, but I have had extremely few blooms and on inspection almost all the bulbs were affected by larvae. Grumbling I'm afraid there will be no more narcissus here, except maybe in pots.

A few images from today, mostly tulips which are at their peek now:

Thinking of the thread title, so here is 'Brown Sugar' and some friends.
Thumb of 2019-04-26/William/4c6aa7

Tulip 'La Belle Epoque'. This one is in a pot on the patio.

Also in pots on the patio:
Thumb of 2019-04-26/William/f7f342

Tulip 'Janis Joplin'

Tulip walkway. This one needs to be enlarged to appreciate. The tulips look oh so small in the thumbnail. Hilarious!
Thumb of 2019-04-26/William/9017ae

Mixing in something not so well groomed into the photos. Can't be too tidy. Tulips by the old ugly concrete well ring. Green Grin!
This one is best not enlarged. Green Grin!
Tulipa 'Poppie' (red) and 'Purissima'(white). 'Janis Joplin' in the background.
Thumb of 2019-04-26/William/db4850

Different angle. 'Poppie' and 'Purissima' is in their third year without lifting or replanting. They still bloom very well, so I think I can wait another year replanting them. This is a very dry spot as it is close to large pine trees.
Thumb of 2019-04-26/William/f12172

Some Crown Imperials and tulip 'Apertif'. I photographed 'Apertif' in just the right time, as unfortunately it fries on a hot day even in Sweden. By the afternoon it looked like colorful tissue paper on sticks. We went to 25℃/77℉, which is unusually high for us at this time of year, and the full sun was too much for it.
