Fred - Love the colors of the first one and I am smitten with the bloom size of the second seedling! Lovey dubby

Here are my seedling blooms for the first day of May:

CCC15: Drink the Light x God Save the Queen - always reliably blooms each Spring! Sowed from seed in 2013 and bloomed for the first time in 2014.
Thumb of 2019-05-01/beckygardener/0ed470

UUU03: CCC01 (Laughing Clown x Zanti Misfit) x ZZZ19 (Magic of Oz x Lily Munster)
This one is a surprise considering all the parents involved. I am not a huge fan of yellow daylilies, but this one I really like. It has an air of elegance and the color is quite pleasing to me.
Thumb of 2019-05-01/beckygardener/496568

UUU13: Little Jet Setter x Japanese Brocade - Interesting resulting blooms. The blooms are 3-1/2" with 13 buds to start with. (First time to bloom.) Looks like little Jet Setter only in the "pink" version.
Thumb of 2019-05-01/beckygardener/734127

Now something has struck me about this one. It has produced several blooms. All have streaking of yellow on the petals or sepals somewhere. At first I just thought it was the first bloom, but I am now noticing this happening on every bloom from this particular scape.

TTT27: CCC05 (Laughing Clown x Zanti Misfit) x Little Jet Setter. These are the photos of the blooms from this particular scape. Look closely at the petals/sepals and you will see the yellow streaking.
1st bloom - Thumb of 2019-05-01/beckygardener/8fdb80
2nd bloom - Thumb of 2019-05-01/beckygardener/3ceed9
3rd bloom - Thumb of 2019-05-01/beckygardener/fbec7f

So my question is - Is this yellow splotching/streaking an external issue or it is an internal mutation of this particular fan/scape/buds?

Me too! Hurray! Becky, keep an eye on that scape. I'm curious about the cause of the yellow. Might be like what I had with Lavender Stardust last summer with the one branch with the genetic mutation.

I like Fred's first one too, Lovey dubby Great colors, form and size to me.

Really interesting seedling Becky, also hope the yellow continues. Also like the 2nd one, nothing like a yellow self.

Fred - Always a delight to see what can be created using imagination, skill, and crossed fingers! Sometimes we get better than expected. Looks like that happened to you on these 2 new intros for 2019. Thumbs up

I'm finally starting to get a few blooms here, although after almost 100 degrees last week it's cooled down again.

PORT ORANGE x LILLIAN'S STUFF AND SUCH - My FFOE on this seedling, and it's a pretty tall one, probably double the height of each of its parents -- and a much brighter orange bitone. I hope the weather is warmer when I get more blooms so the petals will fully open -- but I like it and the bright bloom definitely stood out in the garden yesterday.

ORANGE BLOSSOM TRAIL x SPACECOAST COLOR SCHEME - This is an older seedling of mine, and I really love it. It has a smaller flower, around 4" to 4-1/2" with wonderful bloom substance, and it has great color that doesn't seem to fade during the day in our hot sun.

Like both of those Betty, most of my first blooms are funky, I never worry about it, they can only get better or visit the compost pile.

This is some of those funky first blooms.
