I ordered this sedum 'Class Act' from Santa Rosa Gardens for $2.99. They have some really good deals on their Sedums.

Do any of you grow 'Class Act'? Do the blooms look as nice as the marketing images?

I just googled it Clint, wow, what a stunning sedum. Love the height, and the bloom color could knock your socks off.

Very good price for a 4" pot sized plant. Thumbs up

Has anyone here grown this one yet?

Of the whole Party Hardy series, that's the only one I don't have. It did win an RHS award of merit, so it can't be too shabby. The only reason I didn't get it was I saw pics where it looked a little floppy, so please let us know how it does for you.

Clint, how did that one do for you last growing season?
Wow, the photo in the database is from Terra Nova Nursery. What an amazing bloom color it has.

And look at the leaf edges, just a tiny lining of color. It really is a beautiful sedum. Sure hope it does as well as the photo.

I grow Class Act and it is my favorite sedum. It is a compact grower so doesn't sprawl like a lot of sedums. The flower heads are large and flat. They emerge a beautiful raspberry color and then gradually change to a burgundy wine color. I grow mine in partial shade and it performs beautifully. I highly recommend this sedum.

Hi Felisa. Great information, thank you. How long have you had it?
Do you have any photos? We'd love to see them if you do.

This sedum started rotting at the crown because we had too much rain when I planted it. However, I rooted the top portion and have it growing indoors. It bloomed inside too! I will replant it this Spring outdoors and improve the drainage. It does flop some, but most Sedums do. It has been a great houseplant! Rolling on the floor laughing

Unfortunately not great pics. The color is much richer and I don't have a snapshot of the heads as they fade to wine. I will try to do a better job next year. In the second picutre you can just see that the leaves have a very thin burgundy edge.

Great photos Felisa, would you add both of those photos to the database entry for Class Act? Stonecrop (Hylotelephium 'Class Act')
We could sure use more photos of such a great sedum. Thumbs up
