Its time to start a new chat forum for the upcoming winter season. Royal Colors has their new catalog up on their website. As of now, they are shipping to the USA .

This was SUPPOSED to be Lady Jane. But it's not. Crying
Anyone care to guess what it actually is? Confused I'm pretty sad, because Lady Jane is my favorite, but my patio squirrel stole it from its pot. Grumbling Now I will need to look around for a vendor who actually has it in stock.

Same one as previously, but I like the white amaryllis behind it.

Christie, that white double with pink tips could possibly be Candy Amadeus, introduced in 2016. It is now just called Amadeus. That's the closest thing, to your photo, in the NGA database and emaryllis.com. Some of the white doubles have scattered pink "faults", but I don't think this is case. This looks as if the tips are supposed to be pink. I haven't seen Lady Jane for sale for a long time.

I had no idea what Lady Jane looked like. So on to the web I went. Very beautiful flower. I really love the doubles. Anyway if you haven't found it yet, I stumbled onto a sight called The garden club of Houston and they have it in stock.

Oh, where to post? Stretch your memories back to my questions, pictures, etc. about Red Lion and my not white Amaryllises. They're outside and apparently happy despite our 100+ degree heat. They're in shade but hard to escape the heat. So anyway, here's a picture of the Red Lion that was a two-fer.

This one is labeled 'white' but I don't remember having a white one. 🤷🏻‍♀️

And then there's a special one that Christie gave me a few years ago. It was the cutest little bulblet that I more or less abused. After about a year or so I put it in an actual pot. Still abuse it because despite good intentions I've never fed it. (At least I water it.) So it's also outside and looking good. Here's a picture.

And that's my follow up report minus one. I had a bulb with a hole in it. No time to take a picture right now so I'll just say 'stay tuned'.

Heat is not a problem for amaryllis, only sun itself. I have a similar weather, About 95-100 F each day, but they get only 2-3 hours of morning sun, all other time are in the shade. And they are growing and multiplying like crazy. If for some reason I remove a baby bulb from a pot and replace it with soil, new bulb will appear in a several month .
After several years , mine main bulbs are now about 35 cm in circumference, over 4 inches in diameter and continue to grow.
and bloom in the end of each winter.

You should use less a clay soil, soil from nursery that based on coccus, is one of the best

Sitting here waiting for a direct hit from Hurricane Dorian. I can't physically move the big Amaryllis pots so hopefully they will still be on my property after the storm passes. Floridians have serious hurricane fatigue, since the storm is now not expected till Tues or Weds. The waiting is as emotionally draining as the storm. As is always the case, we lose our phone, internet and electricity. Though at this point, if my roof stays on my house, I will feel blessed. See you on the other side of the storm Crossing Fingers!

god bless you @bsharf

As I read here in a local news, for now the expected forecast is that storm now is category 4, and after it pass Bahamas, it should hit Florida cost , and will travel some time on the cost line before continue inland.

Amaryllis NAGANO finished blooming, and now growing the green leaves, and returning lost energy to the bulb
It also has 2 new babies (I replanted one of them to other pot)

I hope it will not go dormant at winter.

bloom 2 month ago (posted before already)
