This is the first in a series of short articles on propagation, the process of increasing your plants. There are several ways to propagate, but let's start with water rooting.
A co-worker told me that the container to root plants should be clear white glass. She was right. Very easy to root a cutting of scented geraniums. I use empty glass bottles of juice with wide mouths.--Another trick is also, instead of watering the potted cuttings, put a few ice cubes. The melting ice water soak in slowly and wet the soil instead of streaming out of the container.
