Of the 2020 introductions, I would choose:

Arctic Chill (I love the touch of yellow on the beard)
Fashion Event
Tied: Moonglint, Turkish Tapestry

Of the older irises, I yearn after Dark Universe, but it is too expensive. Black Lipstick is getting into my price range finally. Smiling

I have no business buying ANYTHING next year.... I've got to take care of (and continue paring down) the ones I have.

That said... ARCTIC CHILL or COLLUSION are appealing. I wouldn't object to WEALTH too. Whistling
Evaluating an iris seedling, hopefully for rebloom

Thank You Everybody his intro's are stunning this year and very hard to pick a favorite out of all of them what a line up for the year Drooling Smiling A few notes on some of them after seeing them up close and personal over the past few years.

Moonglint..The ruffles on it are like nothing else I have seen on any other luminata very unique he has been using some of the Silk Road lines and Arrivderci with luminata seedlings there coming along with beautiful colors and some are blooming towards the end of season this is the 1st of hopefully many more to come it is awesome up close Smiling

Fashion event.. This one stops me every time I see it big ruffled flowers and a perfect branch it looks to be loaded with buds which is always a plus and for those that like to hybridize this one has some amazing seedlings coming from it and a good pedigree it is a sib to Mood Ring and Idle Rich.

Arctic Chill.. Have wanted a piece of this one for years about as perfect as you can get in an iris everything about it is good and I think it will go on to win a lot of AIS awards in the future as it gets out there a really good garden plant and beautiful up close in the garden Really enjoyed it this year.

Gentle Manner.. Lovey dubby Lovey dubby Lovey dubby A favorite of ours for many years in his garden and one that needs to be seen in person a real standout and a mass of ruffled blooms. Ive been trying to get an accurate picture of the purple flush on the falls when it 1st opens and finally had some good lighting this year to show it love the pedigree as it has a mix of Keiths plants and Joe Ghio's behind it. This one is special very good in a clump and has been my Dad's favorite pick in his garden.

Magic Ring..I remember seeing this one on its maiden bloom it blew me away it has been fun to watch the progression of it there were over 100 seedlings in this cross blooming at the same time Drooling and many many of them were incredible but this one stood out among all of them it will be the 1st on my order form Smiling
Thumb of 2019-12-02/ARUBA1334/a61ad8

Hold The Line.. Another must have Green Grin! very bright and nothing else like it. I have been working Plicata Lines at home the past couple years and super excited to get something with this pedigree the pollen parent is my favorite Plicata in his garden 07-176B it may take a couple generations but hoping I can pick it's colors up somewhere down the line Smiling
Thumb of 2019-12-02/ARUBA1334/556235

Turkish Tapestry.. Hoping I find a whole bunch of plicata's blooming in my seedling patch in May just like this Green Grin! nodding plants like this is what makes crossing Plicata's fun nothing else like it either and it has the same pollen parent as Hold The Line Whistling were already making plans for it Smiling

thank you for your insightful comments and personal thoughts on keppel's introductions. it really helps brad, when one has to be selective because of space constraints. i am sure i'm not the only one who has to bite the bullet when it comes to (wanting and controlling urges to) buying everything in sight. D'Oh! Rolling on the floor laughing

Brad is there some reason 07-176B hasn't been introduced? It's so nice.

Daphne.. Your welcome and I have the same problem especially this time of year Smiling

Tom.. I'm not sure the flower is incredible and from what I can tell seeing it in OR looks to be a great grower my guess is its either missing some buds or the branch Shrug! he has done a lot of work with it and there are some other seedlings from it that are in that color range none as intense as it but close hopefully they become available in the future. It really makes some beautiful seedlings happy to see it in the pedigree of this years intro's so I can pick up the genes from it.

Yes, it's disappointing when you get a great bloom, but don't have the other characteristics to support it. But it seems to produce some good offspring.
