I received my first plants of the season today from Breeze on the Lily Auction and Bell's Daylily Garden. First order from Tom Bell and I'm impressed. I am a repeat customer of Breeze, and his plants always do well in my garden.

Does anyone know if the plants from Breeze had been grown in pots? Looking at the roots in the photos it looks like they might be and the ones form Tim Bell look like they were grown in the ground to me. Both beautiful groups of plants.

@Seedfork,
I'm not sure whether they were grown in pots or not, but they sure look good. I potted most of them for now...not sure what made it through the wet and mild winter.

Expecting plants from Floyd Cove and Wynn's today. Smiling

Double fan of Radient Red Eyes received as a bonus from Floyd Cove. I'm sure these will shrink after a few weeks with me, but geesh.

I received notice that my 10 plants ordered from Breeze (Scott S. in FL) are on their way! Now I'm REALLY excited...his plants look amazing!

I may pot them and stick them in the basement for now. We're supposed to have 2 nights in the high 30s next week. After that, I'll put them outside.

Sorry for the long post...didn't know how else to link pics of my 10 incoming beauties.

I potted most of mine up as well, just because I don't know where to put them yet. Scott aka Breeze is such a nice man. I order from him every year! Make sure you post pics of your plants when they arrive.

And here they are! Slight delay in delivery by the USPS, but I'm sure they're under-staffed and overwhelmed.

No problem for these beauties, though. Just look! And I got FOUR fans of his amazing purple (Cosmic Odyssey x Funky Blues)! AND I got a fan each of Blue Racer and Dragon Knife.

I'm in seventh heaven!

@MrKGDickie, you did hit the jackpot! I purchased Dragon Knife last year, but forgot where I planted it Confused Confused Oh well, hopefully I will find out this spring.

@ShakespearesGarden, I should receive my order from Pat Ball on Saturday. I ordered Hearts on Parade, Ledgewood's Firecracker, Born in California, and Ballerina Beautiful. Can't wait!

It's half of my parents' turkey roasting pan. I've found it's too shallow to use for it's intended purpose. It has a new life being used for gardening.

The other half of the pan is essentially the same. That'll be helpful when I get my next shipment on Tuesday. That order has 18 plants in it!

Right now, I'm using it to soak 11 Mathieu spider daylily fans I just got today from GH Wild. They're smaller plants with little new growth, but the roots and crowns look good!

I am always amazed at the tiny fans sent by G.H. Wild... then they amaze me again by how fast they grow and how well they perform in the garden. Never a big shipping bill with them.

Hahaha they were pretty tiny. Fantastic root systems, but little get with yet above the grown. I'm guessing they're greenhouse-grown?

I'm excited to see if they take off. I bought a mix of 10 unnamed Mahieu spiders, but I ended up with 15 plants. There were 11 clumps, but a few came disentangled during soaking/rinsing.

I just hope they're not predominantly pink...I already have too many pinks.

I received my order from our own Pat Ball (daylilly99) today, and she sent beautiful double fans of her MIDSUMMER TRANQUILITY and BEEBLEBERRY PIE. I have long coveted MIDSUMMER TRANQUILITY ever since I first saw its picture, and I'm so happy that she finally had enough to sell me one. And she also included a DF of her BEEBLEBERRY PIE, another of her creations that I also wanted. Totally thrilled here! Hurray! Thumbs up Lovey dubby
