More iris babies being born to me.
Mid March is rather early to see germination for me, since my pots weather outside over the winter but now in late March early April, things are now getting off to a good start. A longer cooler period at the time of germination actually improves the emerging percentages somewhat because warm/hot weather at this time tends to shut down germination in my experience.
I've six pots of this cross, hopefully i'll get something decent
decided to start my own line of plicatas -- there's certainly no shortage of great parents to choose from nowadays. I've 5 pots of this one
my only reason for initiating this cross was because these two were growing right next
to one anothers and i didn't feel like walking across the field with a planned parent blossom in hand.
