Here it is the 7th of April already and I did not see a new April 2020 Blooms thread started yet? Hope I did not over look it.
I just had to post my first bloom ever on 'Lana Lindsay':

'Whooperee' I had two pots blooming in my new circular bed today:


'Whale Tails' bloomed yesterday, but the blooms never opened fully, today it did.

'Lickety Split': I waited all season last year for this to bloom, and finally it bloomed today.

Darn: I have tried three times now to post this photo, must not have had my coffee this morning:
'Royal Eventide': A single that looks more like a double most of the time.

Took photos today of the new blooms, I must say I was blown away by how bright 'Lava Flow' actually was down in the garden. I don't think I have any other plant that makes such a loud statement, you just can't overlook it! The camera just could not come close to capturing the true look of the bloom, so much prettier in the garden.

Even though 'Buddy's Abilene' is also very bright and stands out, it could not outdo 'Lava Flow'. Once again the camera just could not seem to get the colors correct. I think I tried every setting on it trying to get the orange tint of the base color not to look so yellow, but the camera just insisted the bloom look yellow.

'Debbie Durio' was blooming in two pots down in the circular bed this morning.


'Shamrock Dew' looked great with such a large bloom.

Then I had my little yellow NOID trying to compete with the big names.

I had the first bloom on 'Filled With Joy' this morning.

No blooms yet on 'Paper Butterfly' but look at the buds!

Larry I had to put sun glasses on to look at Lava Flow up close bright and beautiful. The seedling is holding its own with the big dogs bright and cheery.

Lava Flow does make a statement! And it's usually one of my first bloomers. We'll see if that holds true this year.

Mike, the little yellow one is not a seedling, just an old pass me down, that I do not know any info on.

So nice to see the bloom threads getting started. Looking really good Larry, all your hard work shows! I'm still working on garden clean up....snow expected Friday.

'Mrs William Kemble du Pont': A first ever bloom for me on this plant so it is not quite up to what it would normally be.

'Whale Tails': Blooming again today.

'Crimson Pirate': This is a first bloom of the season and it looks great.

'Buddy's Abilene': Also blooming again today.
'Bragging Rights': Another first bloom ever in my garden and it looks a little wonky!

'Nazca Hummingbird": I did post this photo in the database this time.

'Pleated Perfection: First bloom of the season on this plant.
'Champagne Elegance': Normally one of my earliest to bloom, this is not a first or second bloom but it is the nicest bloom so far on the plant this year.

Very please to see my Louisiana creeping Iris blooming for the first time this year.

First flower to bloom honors goes to Stella's Sparky, which arrived in our garden last fall courtesy of our very own Hazelcrest Mike. Actually, this is not the first bloom, I missed it completely a few days ago, but happy to have one small scape with several buds left--and I love this small flower, what a neat color it is.
