Lynn, I'm afraid you have created a monster in this old gardener!. In addition to several offsets I just ordered from you, I had also placed a small order with Mountain Crest Gardens as well as another succulent nursery located in Wisconsin. At your suggestion I just took a close look-see at Youngs and Perennial Obsessions' sempervivum offerings.

Up to now I only had a couple of NOIDS - one given to me by my step-daughter and the other purchased at Home Depot, and pretty much unaware of the fantastic array of choices available.

I have been preparing my "wish list" - but will need to rob a bank and hire a slew of gardeners - to acquire even a very small part of the "wish list."

Thank you so much for opening my eyes to the wonderful world of sempervivum.

All wonderful places to find Semps and they can become a challenge to the pocket book. But they are so fun to acquire.

We will all be watching to see how you develop your new "hobby/addiction. Welcome to the wonderful wacky world of sempaholicism.
Hurray! Group hug Hilarious!

Karen - No, fortunately it was not corona virus. This is second time in a two-week period that she has been hospitalized. First time was for urinary tract infection (or possibly kidney infection - I'm not sure.)

Three days after being discharged from hospital, she was re-admitted with signs of pending kidney failure. She's been in the hospital the second time around for eight days - condition improving but bloodwork still shows signs of kidney problems. She has an excelled kidney specialist handling her care.

Thanks for your concern. Will be glad to get her home again - been married for 43 years this coming September and not used to "holding down the fort" by myself.

It's good she will be home soon. My husband has had to hold down the fort recently while I was hospitalized for a cervical and a lumbar surgery. We've been married 54 years.

Don I am so glad to hear Pearl will be home soon. Holding the fort down single handed can be a lonely job. Hang in there.

Thanks for Chris' website - twisted my arm in making me add quite a few more choices to my Wish List.

To Everyone: For the additional "thumbs up" you gave me, "Thank You"

I've been following the Sempervivum forum for quite some time and enjoy all the comments and pictures. Also interested in Sedums....but as you may have noticed, semps are keeping me fully occupied at the moment.

I'm new too, & just ordered a second time from Lynn. I don't know why, but I thought they were delicate & I would need to bring them indoors during the winter.

Mine were birthday presents to myself. Last night my husband said, "I'm sorry I didn't get you anything for your birthday" (Me thinking to myself: You never do. That's why I order stuff & don't tell you about it). He felt really bad & then said, "Hey, the next time you go to town why don't you buy some plants & say they're from me? Maybe $100 worth?" (Me: I love you. Also me: I've already done it.). I've ordered from Lynn & about 3 different people in Facebook groups. My husband is the type of person who is appalled at people who grow anything you can't eat or that has some use.

Good for you, Kathy! Have fun with your new semps, and they love being outdoors! My summers are too hot for them, so I have to give them more shaded places. I also have trouble with deer, rabbits and squirrels eating the newly planted ones.
