Yes Teresa, I saw that, too! They call that a thriller, a filler and a spiller!

I just saw one pic of the thriller being a Oakleaf H. I guess it would have to be replanted in a couple years but that would be a nice one.

There are some dwarf ones out now. I'm thinking if you used one of those in a large pot you could put off the move to a larger pot for a little bit longer. I usually put my pots together with annuals, this is the first year I've made one with perennials. I've done a pot with a canna and an ele ear in it. Not sure what to do with it when it gets cold.

Yes, it's coleus under the sea fishnet gold.

Nice. You must have been lucky to find an open nursery at planting time. Timing here was rotten. Doesn't look like anything Lowe's or Home Depot probably carried!

Our nurseries are essential businesses So braved early in the season and put the plants in my greenhouse. The coleus was mail order from Rosey Dawn. Also bought some nice plants at our local grocery store.
