I must have passed by this plant a dozen times today while working with my seed cups, and never noticed the bloom. Then I received an order from Dan Hansen. So when I went down to plant his three new plants I noticed this one blooming.
'Chan Dom Vongthirath': Also a Dan Hansen creatioin.

I had four bloom today and only have 5 possible amazing for Oct. Only scape that didn't bloom is Green Turtle Key

Gasping for Breath very appropriate it looks like it is struggling to open

definitely does like the cold and rain

Smooth Talking Stranger looking pale but pretty

Burnin' Down the House had a twofer

Nagasaki looking pretty in the cold and rain

Ming Porcelain didn't open with these cool nights. Genesta is hanging in there.

A couple others are gearing up for another round.

Here is a seedling that opening this morning. It has continued blooming very, very late for here. It was down to almost freezing last night and it still opened. I guess it is a cool morning opener

Nice blooms everyone! I have 3 scapes come up 2 weeks ago. These late scapes are so strange. They shoot up suddenly, go through a rapid phase of growth, and buds develop so much faster than during the regular blooming season. I hope I will get to see their blooms before any frost. Two will be FFOEs.

Nice blooms all. It is great to see others having Oct blooms. It seems like a very strange yr here. It has been quite warm and very dry this year & I have had the most rebloom ever. Most are my newer varieties and a lot don't even say they are rebloomers. Maybe they are still just settling in? Yesterday I saw a new scape coming on Spacecoast Sea Shells. I got it last fall and this will be it's FFE if it makes it. I am afraid I have my doubts on that happening.
