Because of my husband's health, which has gotten a lot worse, I asked Dave if he'd remove me from being the moderator. I just wanted to let you all know.

Thank you Danita.

A year ago this past Oct., he was in the hospital and we were told he had kidney cancer. He then had 5 chemo sessions. First one in hosp. and the others as an outpatient. Dialysis (in the hospital, in rehab and an outside place after rehab). He was in hosp. Oct. 17 to Nov. 1 and then went to rehab till Nov. 12.

After the 5th chemo, he was rushed to the hospital Feb. 2 for sepsis, put into ICU for a week and had dialysis treatments. He was in hosp. Feb. 2 to Feb. 25 and then to rehab and stayed there till April 4.

He was again rushed to the hospital on Nov. 5, had dialysis and on Nov. 9, we were told that he has lymphoma cancer and only has up to 6 months to live. He had some dialysis also.

He came back from the hospital Sunday night, Nov. 15 and is under Hospice care to live out his remaining days.

Dean is 68 and I'm 65.

Marilyn

Marilyn ...I have followed you from the first day I joined this site. You pics and helpful advice has been encouraging and appreciated. Always lov the pics and stories of your bunnies and garden.

I am very saddened to hear of the distressing news. My DH is on home dialysis daily - kidney failure . It's very difficult to watch our partners going thru serious illness. As we age we hope for a life of ease to live out our lives together. I can relate to how life changes in a instant.

You have many here to help support you. Sending angel's to walk with you on this journey, and prayers for the strength needed to assist your with all you need to sustain you .
Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. 🙏🏽

I don't remember what all I said above:

My beloved husband, Dean, sadly passed away from Lymphoma cancer on December 7, 2020. He was 68 years old.

His health had gotten so bad, that on November 9, 2020, we were told that he only had up to six months to live.

He arrived home from the hospital on November 15 to live out his remaining days on earth.

Less than a month later, he sadly passed away.

His obituary at the funeral home:

His memorial service:

He served in the Air Force and that's why you'll see the American Flag if you click onto the link.

Thank you for sharing so much about Dean. So sad that you have to bear this heartbreaking loss. His legacy will always be a gift to share with family. Sending condolences and healing prayers to you and your family. 🙏🏽

I especially loved watching the military folding of the flag ceremony. Very touching made me cry. How beautiful to witness the honor and respect to Dean for serving in the military.
