I am on a dial-up system but I listened to about 17 minutes of the podcast and enjoyed it ! It would take a couple minutes to load about 5 minutes of talk then do it again with each 5 minute section.

I have Christmas cactus blooming now so your mention of it will get me to check out that forum. I have also grown a couple of Poinsettia's for about 3 years and they did color back up for me so now I need to check that forum as well ! Thumbs up

Hurray! I enjoyed every minute of this new podcast feature.
Many of the Top Five x 2 I have purchased from and have been very happy with the results.

This is going to be such a useful feature. I now have a couple new online seed/plant companies to check out.

I have done potatoes in the manner you are doing Trish, it was a great success.

The two of you have got my brain going, planning what I will do for this years vegetable garden. Hurray!

Thumbs up I liked the very first podcast and really look forward to the ensuing issues!

I laughed at the discussion regarding the proper pronunciation of the words Poinsettia and Apricot. My family is from the south and I've always pronounced Poinsettia with a silent i (Poinsetta), and Apricot as App-ri-cot ... but one of my sisters pronounces it A-pri-cot like Trish does. Smiling

That discussion got me to thinking so I decided to google. I landed on the Merriam-Webster site which shows Poinsettia pronounced (Poin sett ia), and the word Apricot as App ri cot. So, it looks like Trish was correct with her way of saying Poinsettia and Dave was right with his way of saying Apricot. LOL ... I really think we are all correct though ... different accents and dialects are what make us all such a wonderful, fun and diverse group.

My holiday cactus are still blooming away which gives some cheer on this gray, dreary and chilly (59ºF) day, but we are due for some much needed rain the next couple of days so I won't complain.

Happy New Year everyone!

Nice job, Dave and Trish. The little guy babbling in the background really seemed to want to offer his opinions. I'm all ears! Cute touch!

But, are you sure you guys are married? When Trish mentioned a seed company and Dave commented "Huh, I never heard of it", it didn't sound like a married couple who garden together on the same farm. Hilarious! It sounded like 2 strangers striking up a conversation at a garden center.

We do have his and hers gardens! Hilarious! And lots of stuff gets ordered around here without the knowledge of the other person.

I'm glad you liked the little voice. He said "bye bye" at the very very end.

I loved hearing the little big guy babbling in the background ... and his cute little "Bye Bye" at the end!

Rolling on the floor laughing regarding Dave's "Brain Block", I can sure relate ... but, Dave's so young!

I still don't remember the company. I guess I had to make room in my brain for other stuff, and that was a casualty! Hilarious!
