crawgarden and gardenglory, Thank You! for admiring our garden photos. Been growing Brugmansia, Daturas
and Iochromas since the late 1990s. Totally addicted to them! I do have a blog on the web but gun shy in
posting a link.

Oh my gosh, I remember you from the old Yahoo brug forum. I sold my home and greenhouse and stopped growing brugmansias for years, I'm starting over now. I'm in zone 8b in Texas so it's a bit of a challenge. Cold winters and wicked hot summer plus perpetual droughts. To top it off I live on a hill with about 4 inches of soil on top of limestone! Your garden is beautiful!

These photos are from 2021 and this year we had the late freeze and snow so I allowed the Brugs to just grow, no pushing.

Thank you GrammaChar for admiring out gardens. Thank you Seamaid for bring this back up!

GigiPlumeria, that would be Clematis 'Crispa.' Check with me in the spring, I have some seedlings in the greenhouse and seeds on one of our plants. Also thank you for the lovely acorn!

Karma, just now viewing your 2021 pictures. You have a very large lovely tropical-looking garden. The plants with the huge leaves look like banana plants. If they are, my question is are they in pots that you have to lug into the greenhouse each fall or if they are planted permanently in the ground outside do they survive the frost and snow that you receive?

tigerpaws, thank you for asking that question. They are planted in the ground and all I do after the second frost is cut them to the ground. In zone 8b they come back each year. I have 8 clumps of them on our property and when I cut them back I lay
the trunks along the fence line to keep the squirrels from digging up under the fence.
The clump by the garden plots were the larges this year. I had two that I couldn't put my arms around the trunk. Folks love to stop and go on a min vacation! Thank you for admiring out photos.
