SoCal you're making me so impatient for some colour in the garden! How cheerful! It'll be a while till my peonies open but if the frost spares my tulips that will be something. That is a stunning red.

For some reason I have more red this year. Anyway, I'm impatient waiting for my first bomb type of peony, like Command Performance. It's a tease, peaking but not opening.

AW is beautiful! It's my favorite red peony! When it is mature, you will get even more fuller bloom.
