My first bloom this year. Grown from seed - smells really good, reminds me of gardenia. Very strong scent and love the petals.

I Love it. It has an enhanced, classic look about it. I'm a little ways off from my first bloom. It's going to be a Hurricane. Just waking, and starting with an inflo.

Thank you Jason! I think this is a seedling of Maui's beauty but I have to double check. Some of my tags got lost.

My very own, a seedling of Sariah's Curly seed planted in 2013. Very fragrant! Sariah's Curly is a seedling of Ammaron's Curly. Both are highly sought for their flower size, curly form, and fragrance.

New bloom in time for Mother's Day, this is a once every 2 years bloomer only. But it is worth the wait - Thai Mango Blush

I will be taking a cutting so at least I will have 2 chances of bloom next year. And hopefully more branches were I cut them. Tire of waiting for just one plant to bloom once every3 years.

And my seedlings still blooming today:

Beautiful. Is the last one Cleo? If so, the blooms look different again. Looks something like Mystique.

@TeamCll Yes Jason, Cleo is still trying to finalize her color. I think partly because I disrupted her blooming season by planting it in the ground last weekend and had to cut a few roots. I watered it once and I am withholding the watering for a couple weeks to avoid root rot.

Hi Plumeria. I just received a packaged cutting of plumeria and getting ready to plant it for its initial rooting. I was hoping you could provide advise beforehand. I was thinking of mixing potting soil with sand as it's base and using rooting hormone. Is scratching the bark needed? I'm in the desert and have a shad3d hoop house available. Do you recommend full sun or the shaded hoop house to begin? Temps are climbing with daily temps hitting almost 90 right now.

Any advise is appreciated. Thank you.

New bloom, I lost the tag so I can't recall if this is a seedling or one of my cuttings. The bloom is too small but usually just because it is the initial bloom. It will get bigger.

Hausten white, this is a cutting with buds that I cut and planted, so it bloomed small. Mostly like no roots yet.

@GinaY86441 I am so sorry I missed your post. The potting soil, sand and rooting hormone should work. If the cutting is calloused (dried on the end part, usually one to 2 weeks old), you can plant it with the mix you have. I water mine thoroughly once and put it in full sun (or partially shaded) but on a concrete pad. Bottom heat is important to speed up rooting. I don't water it again until the 4 sets of leaves are out. (although I admittedly would sometimes mist the cuttings in the morning or afternoon).

Keep us posted of your plumerias progress!

It is like having different color everyday. I think it is normal for a seedling to keep changing its color.

It's beautiful. I thought it typically held its color after the 3rd bloom cycle? Also, I responded to @Gina in a tree mail when she asked for advice. Your advice is good too.
