Cistus skanbergii.......normally a nice sturdy mound.....and I think that it is known as such.....

I'm happy to have found that it also likes to climb up through the branches of Ceanothus 'Dark Star' when planted close for support...it may also help that the Cistus side is a bit shaded making it want to climb for more sun...the Cistus has climbed to 6' with the support of the Ceanothus

Peeking out my kitchen window, I can see my Dark Star and my Jasmine is starting to bloom, so between the two of them, it smells wonderful out there....

Dunno what these are, but they're a beautiful magenta color...have to ask Bex if they came from her......they may have been in the pot with the Zebra Grass when I planted it some years ago.....I had some Lobelia that popped up in that same area and then disappeared.....

Cistus.....un-named.....this came from the property of Rebecca's somewhat recently deceased Uncle Ben's property in Pistol River, where it has naturalized through the years....think I will be calling it 'Uncle Ben's Cistus'....lol...the bloom is not really as large in proportion to the size of the plant as it appears to be....
