All multiples of anything are welcome--yours are very nice, indeed. Our yellow daylilies really brightened a dreary, rainy day.

Call this a mini-clump of Stella's Ruffled Fingers--they stood up very well to the rain.

Sweet Seneca Cameo produced nine very nice blooms, regardless of the rain.
Thumb of 2021-05-19/Avedon/8a03b3
Purple De Oro--trying to figure out if I really like this one--five blooms today, but a bunch of scapes with lots of buds, so one day this plant may really explode with flowers.

So you have seen this before, but it's such a good bloomer and with the rainy weather, anything that can put out flowers in these conditions deserves another look.
Sweet Seneca Cameo--I must confess I didn't think much of this bonus plant at first, but it has definitely earned its keep here.

Seedling. I was going to toss it but it looks so good I think I will use it as landscape border

I need to get a name for this Piaffe/Katherine Caldwell seedling. It's really doing well , and the scapes are taller than previous years.
Thumb of 2021-05-23/Avedon/58768f

Speaking of Katherine Caldwell, here's a nice clump shot with eight flowers in bloom.
Thumb of 2021-05-23/Avedon/f32372

Wild And Wonderful produced two big flowers.
Thumb of 2021-05-23/Avedon/c42b5f

Just have to put in the clump shot of Sweet Seneca Cameo with 11 blooms.

Your seedling is a better plant than Katherine Caldwell! I tip my hat to you. Maybe Baby Edith for her other parent ( Edith) Piaffe?

Zoia, you jogged my memory that Piaffe's name was Edith. Perhaps Edith's Song would be a good name.

I just edited this to say that I checked the AHS data base, and Edith's Song is a registered daylily name, so I have to come up with something else.

This thread is way too long. Could someone start a new thread for this year? I don't have any clump shots yet, or I would.

We had a big rain storm before we got up, and the rain gauge showed 2.4 inches. So I knew there might be problems getting decent pictures. Some DLS will show rain damage, but not much on this little beauty--Morrie Otte is about to go to the head of the list for a favorite small flowered daylily. Eight flowers and barely touched by the storm.

"Mint Butters". This color really shows up especially in cloudy weather, and it held up to the rain very well.

Thanks for starting the 2021 thread! I appreciate it! Hope to have some clump shots to add in a couple of weeks.

Avedon - The Morrie Ott clump after the rain is gorgeous! My kind of colors! Your Katherine Caldwell seedling is very nice. I hope you do register it.
