I have 2 of them Kira Autumn and Kira Temperate Green. They are on there 2nd year with me. The two that I have have a bit of a silver vail over them. They are hard to find.

I have heard about them , but have never seen them for sale.

Julia, keep us posted on how they do for you.

I have really not seen my plants much since before Christmas and a blizzard is coming tomorrow. I hope all this snow cover is keeping them safe.

This one looked terrible!! Wish I liked moss, it's every were.

We are supposed to get that blizzard too. Not looking forward to it. I also find out today if I get laid off from work. They have been hanging this over our heads since November. Wish me luck.

Julia - your pictures look like my plants. I always love when the new leaves come out in the spring and they have the strong coloring.

Oh Carolyn, I hope and pray you don't get laid off. What a horrible thing to have on your mind since November. Keep us posted.

Best of luck Carolyn. It is a horrible feeling waiting all the time to see what they will do. The last place I worked at they would let go 1 or 2 people a week for almost a year. They went from 3 full shifts to barely having enough for one shift. For today I was lucky , it just happened to be my day off.Hopefully it will mostly be over when I have to go in tomorrow. Be safe everyone.

Now the snow is coming...... As I was sliding into the driveway, I tried to picture my backyard all lush and green.

I appreciate your thoughts and prayers - thank you. Not layed off yet. I found out on the way out, they are very tight lipped about whether they are finished with the lay off. I am to a point where I feel like 'Come on people! Let's just get it overwith!'
