LOL, years ago my mom had neighbors that always had artificial flowers in the flower beds right by their front door, as well as in long flower bed beneath the windows along the front of their house. They would
plant artificial yellow daffodils and bright red Tulips that all faded quickly in the intense Florida sun! On the 4th of July, it was red, white and blue and at Christmas time, it was artificial red Poinsettias.
In the 1970's my husband and I had an elderly couple in our neighborhood who at Easter time would decorate the agave and yucca plants in their yard by placing different sizes of colorful plastic eggs onto the sharp tips.
