I'm new to hostas - can you tell by my post title? lol. I have managed to buy quite a few this year, but I am looking for a big blue - the darkest, crinkliest, largest and large-leafed you have. Being new to hosta also means being new to HVX so I am trying to avoid any varieties that have shown more than average susceptibility. All my hostas are going in pots so it will be easier for me to keep an eye on them for disease and keep tools sanitized. I did pick up Abiqua Drinking Gourd on the classifieds here and I am stoked over that!
Give me land, lots of land, under starry skies above. Don't fence me in.
My largest is Big Daddy , but I think from your description of what you want I would suggest Blueberry Waffles and Diamond Lake.
Welcome to the forum and show us what you have so far.
Love Pat, Rock and Roll and Blue Hawaii are some nice ones. Lakeside Sapphire is a nice medium dark blue. If you're looking for a nice green/blue leaf with corrugated leaves, check out Brother Stefan.

Blue Lettuce, almost like a big blue Road Rage, had a little blue fade due to the loss of a shade tree, but not as much as some of the other blues.
Blueberry Waffles great form when mature
Big Daddy is a good one, but really took a hit with the loss of the shade.
Wishing Well is another nice blue along with Blue Vision, but not as crinkly as I think you want.
As Yogi Berra said, “It's tough to make predictions, especially about the future.”
That's what kinda ticks me off! It was doing great where I first planted it. I noticed it burned in the late summer heat and sun so I moved it to a more shaded location…. Should have left it alone, huh?
