A friend gave me this, its gone through the winter just fine, realized I don't know what shoes are made of when they're cloth like this? Poly fibre?
Cheers I tip my hat to you.

I saw this girl the other day with boots on up to her hips almost. It would be hilarious to take some of those and plant semps in holes all the way up and down the sides.

Clint I know you're kidding but really it would! I also was thinking it'd be cool to keep the upper part empty, and just plant around the platform!! I was requested by someone on here...name withheld but she's probably 99 years old or something...to please don't do it - leave the platform shoes alone for goodness sacks! Hilarious!

I will survive seems to be a theme song for mine...especially since I like to grow the seedlings/chicks right away on their own Smiling It has been amazing me how well they do!

One of mine has a few "leaves" that look rotten. I can't believe how easy some of them are to get sick! I have excellent drainage, but for some reason the weather is not cooperating with my new plants. I haven't seen the sun shine in a few days now!

The snow would be fine for them, but yes if its wet like this that is hard on them... Also these plants came from CA, and I'm pretty sure drier conditions, so its probably feeling more wet to them, then if they came from more similar climate! Thumbs up They're all gonna do fine though! As I see the rotting leaves I pick them off gently, which I think helps!
I tip my hat to you.

They will do great once our weather warms and the sun comes out. This year they will adjust and not have any problems with the wet next winter/spring. Thumbs up

I bought some chicken grit Lynn and all, but so far haven't used it yet, haven't even opened the bag, so don't even know what it looks like! I had a choice of size 1 or 2 and I chose 1...without seeing it! Funny Rolling on the floor laughing

I wish I'd hung onto those heels that I sent to charity just before Christmas Sad And now I'm making a mental inventory of my shoe rack, trying to see which ones I can sacrifice to semps... Hilarious!
