One of my most favorite plants are anything dark, foliage, flower, or fruits
Homalomena sp. Rounded, thick leaves, velvety appearance, very dark brown to almost black depending on the lights

I got this Anthurium as Anthurium Moodeanum, although some source said the name is not valid for a Species name

Thanks @Gina1960 Done, submitted a moving proposal to Tropical forum, so lets wait untill it is reviewed by admin.
Mean while, here is two dark leaved Pipers, both are shruby, non-vine type.

This one probably from South America, thick, deep dark green, verry fuzzy leaves.
Thumb of 2022-02-27/tofitropic/d6b094

This one is a species from Borneo, Thick leaves, dark foliages, there are also silvery form.

Will totally be awesome to have a black variegated papillaminum, the price is way even more crazy for variegated cardiolonchium at the moment at my country, any of velvety anthurium.
The Bilbergia have some Galaxy drawn on it, very cool, the white spots really are glowing like star on a night sky.

Love the peltate of the A. forgetii, Unique foliage forms like peltate, palmate or other are always a treat.

The black Philodendron @LorettaNJ seems mature and has an infloresence on it. very handsome one, and yes it will claim a large portion of space, a dilemma indeed.
My first black foliage perhaps a Philodendron 'Dark Lord'. it now grow huge at my place, together with a P. 'Brasil', both they claim my dying Syzigium samarangense tree. One of these days I really need to clear that mess portion of my garden

This is Philodendron 'McColley's Finale'. Its a self heading Philo, not a climbing philo so stays reasonably contained

I propagated this yesterday for a sale/trade my local rare plant group is having in April. Its a Philodendron that was imported by Barry Yinger at the now defunct Asiatica Nursery in about 2004/5. It was called 'Zulu Prince'. It has been determined that it is a unique entity from 'Majesty', 'Burgundy', the so called 'Bloody Mary' and 'Black Jack'. Recently I have seen sellers from out of country offering plants that are clearly Majesty and Burgundy as Zulu Prince. And they will label them 'Zulu Prince/Burgundy/Majesty/Bloody Mary' as though these are all the same plant LOL. But Zulu is easy to separate from those...it is TRULY BLACK (not dark purple), the leaves are mature at about 6 inches and very thin and lanceolate.

Wow, love all the dark plants, but boy that Philodendron 'Dark Lord' along with Brazil growing up the tree is very impressive. Thumbs up

I have this Neoregelia bromeliad, NOID, it stays really dark and shiny.

Some pitchers of my Nepenthes depending on its cultivar turns deeper red color or deeper red variegation as it gets more light exposure. Pitchers are modified leaves but the main leaves remains solid green.
