Hopefully will mature into a String of Pearls.

Impulse buy. Never had one. Any care suggestions besides the obvious?
Thanks!

As long as you water on time it should be fine. Try avoiding full sun to start out with. Sunny windowsill should do. I have only have the variegated but I think the care except the sun is similar.

I keep mine pretty much constanty somewhat moist, not drenching, just slightly moist.

Thanks!

I have more of a drought/soak relationship with most of my succulents, so I'll keep that in mind for this one.

Still in the air if it stays at home on either a south or west-facing windowsill, or goes to work to be under Jungle Dawn LED (very bright).

Probably give it a couple of weeks to stabilize and try both.

Same grocery store yesterday, not there.

Just came in, not even priced yet.

$4.99 sound reasonable?
Scrawny, and haven't checked it out yet to see what I can work with, but I recall them being pretty pricey once they're trailing.

My mom always had these when I was growing up. I have tried them twice as an adult. Both times they became infested with mealy bugs. I gave up. But I do love them

I like the description "Puddle of Peas" for your String of Pearls (Curio rowleyanus) plant. Keep us updated on it's growth!

Something very exciting about watching a new plant, having a first ever bloom, etc.
Plant it and they will come.

Yep!

She's still at home, and I'm still in mother-mode.

Getting to the low 40's and she comes in.

Nothing going on growth-wise, but I'll give it a few weeks.

Thinking this will be a great candidate for weekly photos from the same angle, for comparison.

weekly, or maybe monthly, LOL. time will tell Crossing Fingers!
Have you counted how many peas?

On other, leafy, cuttings, I sometimes chop the end off all leaves so when new ones grow I can tell easily. Can't chop the end off peas Rolling my eyes.
Plant it and they will come.

Why not?

Since you're trying for long strings, or does cutting one off not encourage new growth and give you a rootable cutting?

First one.

I just assumed you would not want to slice a 'pea' (leaf)_ in half Shrug!
I have no history with 'pearls', I am talking from my experience with coleus, begonia..those things where you can cut perpendicular to the main vein.
Plant it and they will come.

Trying to compare the photos and seeing some other new ones also.

Hard to tell, I need to brush off the soil that's covered over them when I watered.
