Friends, I have LOTS of fresh seed off a pink Mimosa Tree that need rehoming.

Please let me know if you're interested, there's plenty to go around.

When you say Pink Mimosa Tree, are you referring to Mimosa Tree (Albizia julibrissin) ??

Ok, that one is considered a highly invasive species in many parts of the U.S.

Oh. I had no idea.

I always thought mimosas were beautiful trees, they're not the least bit invasive here.

So do I!

I'm glad someone likes them, I had no idea they had a bad reputation for being a 'weed' tree. I've always loved them and their wild cousins, "Touch Me Not".

A Mimosa Tree always grew at my great grandparents house and my grandmother has a couple. They'll always be dear to my heart.

It really is a beautiful tree and attracts bees, butterflies and hummingbirds but it's listed as a Category I non-native invasive here in Florida and not one that is recommended to plant.
