Since the year is almost over, why don't we remove the year from the title and just keep it as an ongoing chat? Or a month to month one would work too, like we do in the Rose forum.

Yea, I think we could remove the year from the title

On going would be better, I think. I don't think we have as many growers for this subject as roses.

Pretty! Looks similar to Upright Angel Eyes. Nice markings on the flowers.

I'm thinking it might be Bernice Ladroot.

Well, Angeleyes is a series and Bernice Ladroot is an Angel type from what I can see so far. Bernice Ladroot was bred by Jay Kapac according to this link:
http://pelargonium-species.com...
And Angeleyes orange has pac as a register, so I am guessing that refers to the same breeder, Jay Kapac.

Here is a list of 'Angel' pelargoniums.

Anyway, too much information maybe.

Thanks Loretta, that's Donn Reiners site in your last link, he is the one that provided all the photos for Geraniaceae.com that I linked above.
I may contact him and see if we can add his photos to the database.

I now remember that I had Bernice Ladroot years ago, most likely purchased it from Robin/Geraniaceae and never took a photo apparently.

The unlabeled, one dollar geranium that I hoped was white has red or dark pink color showing through the buds. She's still warmly welcome! I'll post a picture when the flowers are at their best.

Love this new forum.
I've been growing about 15 different Scented/Fancy leaf/Royals, for some years.
I picked them for their toughness and long bloom season on my partly to very sunny deck.
In zone 8b, here in the PNW, I'm now overwintering them in a barely heated greenhouse.

Oh, geraniums !
I have a 6 year old plant, been bringing it in each winter.
Why? No one here would ask that question.
This plant had 37 bloom clusters at one time, and repeats throughout the outdoor season. It's just an amazing, continuous performer - both in summer outside and winter inside.
West window sill in winter; east garden exposure in summer. Water weekly in winter. Only fertilize in summer. Stays in the same pot year-round. Ocasionally will repot in spring.
