First round at dawn is done. We also got soaked in tule fog for awhile before the first round came...in between storms once more..breezy and outcast outdoors.
My weather station reading at 98% relative humidity. Temps warm at 52F here right now.

Take care everyone..bigger, meaner looking storm this afternoon:

This Youtube channel has good graphics of the series of storms, and quite good explanations too.

I like how it uses different weather models and a wider view whole west coast profile.

Thanks, tarev...will take a look...we get different forecasts even within our area up here...the one that Dick uses seems to often have a different outlook than the one I'm used to.....

We have already lost power 3 times due to the high winds, roads blocked due to fallen trees. Several deaths from the last storm a week ago.
We are bracing again from high winds up to 45-50 at this time.

Posted this in the chat thread and just noticed this one so copied it over.

We had a doozy of the storm here last night, super powerful winds, our power went out around 7, came back on 11:30 this morning, also lost water and wifi. We have a generator so used that until we went to bed. Lots of downed trees and flooding, the nearby town of Occidental 20 minutes away had a gut wrenching tragedy, a tree came down on a house, the family lost their baby. Crying
The wind and rain has subsided for now, another onslaught coming in tomorrow and Saturday. Then one after another storm through the next 10 days at least. I think these are more the 'atmospheric river' rain ones without the intense winds though, hopefully. Flooding will be a continuing problem as the soil is already so saturated. Think the drought is officially over.

I just saw this video, this is quite near our place, thankfully we do not have to use that part of the road to get in and out of our city if we need to.

I wouldn't trust any part of 101 during these storms! It's dangerous enough in normal years.
Sunny and relatively warm here today and through the weekend.
