since yesterday i got logged out on my iphone and it is asking me to log in.
But on my laptop it is fine.
Is anybody else getting this? I am trying to determine if it's my phone security that is doing this, or worse..something else..some hack..

Oddly I had to log in on my iPhone this morning! I actually had to look for my password as it's been so long since I had to use it. Must be an iPhone update thing.

I had to long in on my laptop, first time in a long time. I also thought it was strange.

it is odd: i have saved psw on the laptop, so i can see what is saved. But iphone does not accept that. and i have not done any phone updates in at least 2 weeks.
other frequent sites with logins seem to be fine..
so i definitely do not want to reset it thru the phone. what if it is a hack?..
i'll wait a little : may be get more responses..
seems, i'll need to reset it from laptop...but i feel safer to do that since i'am still logged in ..

i don't allow auto-updates... i checked my ios version and last update was specifically to address security vulnerabilities on older phones (mine). Ironic ;)...but update was at least 3 weeks back i think..

I just had one the other day. It was worded differently. Thinking I had to check auto updates and disable that one because it had its own option.

Yesterday same happened on my IPad. Logged in again and no further problems.
It has happened a few times over the past three years when updates require ID from members already logged in. Sometimes I get stuck in a loop and have to clear my browser or shut my IPad off and restart. Then reenter my ID/password and no further issues. Sometimes it the site - sometimes it's the user.. i rebooted my phone and i also went to look at other sites that i check all the time and they are ok without re-login. i had garden.org in several tabs and they all forced me out. it is just peculiar.

@dave , just wondering if there was any recent work done on the site that was security related? that might force a periodic re-login?

Hm, this hasn't happened to me on either of my devices (iPad or laptop). Still logged in, as I have been for months.

No, there have not been any changes on our side that would force a login like that. Something on your end could certainly have cleared your cookies, which would log you out.

Sorry to bother you, i'm sort of paranoid about hacks. better safe then sorry :).

@dave

It just happened to me, too. I'm on a laptop with Firefox browser. No cookies were erased & no updates, so it seems to be something on your side. Shrug!

I'm using Firefox on a desktop PC, Chrome once in awhile, and both on an android tablet and phone, and none of them have forced my logout. I can't even remember the last time I had to login here on any device.
