the adenium police said I had to go home went to Galveston - met up with friends at a beach house - toured Moody Gardens Rainforest Pyramid - and ate a ton of seafood

I heard there was hail in North Texas and when I got home, a storm hit and a hail stone about the size of a half dollar took off one of the limbs on Big Mama - the rest missed out

there are a dozen + adenium or so to the left, those didnt make the cut ....and I have sold a few

the crates - those are Coke and Dr Pepper 32 ounce (i think) carriers - that a friend of mine got wholesale - no idea if they are still available - heard they went to cardboard - anyway upside down, they keep plants high and dry , another stacked right side up, keeps them contained

Glad to hear Big Momma is safe save for losing one arm and glad you were able sell some of your adeniums. You do have some adeniums that look like the character adeniums that at TJoe buys.

the "character adeniums" are A.arabicum, its been a real challenge to get them to grow more squat, and less upright - chop chop

I am not sure if you saw this. I want mine to look like these but it is easier to do it when you only have a few to take care of.

have seen that video - basically the same as I do, cut back branches - except I do it early spring before flower buds form - pruning after flowering you loose possible seedpods

this puny flower "hid" during the group picture

Nothing puny about the flower. My Arabicum Chickie has stopped showing its cluster blooms. I just repotted it last year but it is begging for another repot.

yeah - pretty much....these arabicum are simpler, and I exaggerated a bit ...smaller than A.obesum, but less than 1" across....will measure tomorrow

Yes, it is common that arabicum has small flowers

yep ...1-1/4" (1.25") wide - measuring across flower
