As a comment about Storksbill (Erodium trifolium 'Sweetheart'), gardengus wrote:

This is a beautiful little plant with dainty pink and white flowers. I have grown this plant twice, but it has failed to return in spring. Most likely not hardy here in my zone 5.

This is the most wrongly identified Erodium. This is mainly due to the commercial trade refusing to correct their naming. The wrong name keeps getting passed on because the general public does not realize the error... The keep posting the wrong name and sending the seed in to the seed exchanges with the wrong name. Photos on Google image are 99.9 % wrong. Erodium trifolium is even listed as a synonym on some sites... IT IS NOT. Erodium trifolium is a different and separate species from Erodium pelargoniflorum. Check Erodium.co.uk to see the real pelargoniflorum.
