Has anyone ordered any irises yet?

I sent my Keppel order in last week, and I just sent an order to Mid-America. I think that will be it for this year. We'll see. Rolling my eyes.

Tom, what did you order?

I have a wishlist, but I hope to get up to Oregon this May to see my choices in person before I order them. I'd like to order Karakul and Royal Heir from Keppel. At Mid-America, I have 39 on my wish-list. Hard choices will have to be made!

Not yet ,Tom.
I have had a lot of dental expenses .I still have the 2nd half of a tooth implant due this month-$1500 just after a root canal and crown a few days ago.
That would have bought a lot of iris!
I do plan on ordering probably toward the end of March when my funds recover - hopefully.I am thinking 4 introductions from Keppel and 9 or 10 introductions from Mid America all TB's.Maybe 4 or so intro's from 1or 2 others.I have my list made.
Like you,I am thinking this will be it,but we will see- - - -
I plan to go look at what you ordered.

Wow Tom, that's a lot of the new intros! I'm jealous!
I'm over the moon to have ordered for the first time from Mid America. I'm over here in the UK and have pondered on making an order for many years- but what with the certificate, shipping and additional costs it made it way too expensive, however I'm thrilled that a few of us have grouped together to order so are spreading the costs so I've ordered! I would have loved to have ordered some of the new intros- but the costs are so much higher so I've gone with;
Bit of Pink
Blushing Doll
Catch the fever
Mini stripe
Picker Upper
Space Force
Sussudio.
Now to find some space… Rolling on the floor laughing

I am strongly tempted by Draw the Line. I've liked its parent, Center Line, for a long time.

Oooh, that one's pretty! https://wiki.irises.org/TbAthr...

I think I might have to replace Centerline with Draw The Line in my wants list.

Center Line is a good grower here, but this one seems to be larger and more ruffly. I hope it grows as well as Center Line. It's pictures are sure nice.

Center Line blooms reliably for me. It doesn't form the big clumps that I like, but that may be my fault - I may not yet have found the best place for it in my garden.

I ordered and already received two replacement irises (my fault, not theirs).... PCI PRETTY BOY, and the variegated I. japonica APHRODITE. I just need to wait for the ground to dry out a bit before I can plant them.

In a fit of madness, I ordered some PCI seeds from the PCI society. What was I thinking? D'Oh!

I doubt that I'll order any other irises this year.
Evaluating an iris seedling, hopefully for rebloom

To you Daisy-oh ye of little faith-of course I am "pretty sure" Crossing Fingers! and Tom-Mr.Doubting Thomas!

Marilyn,no to a lot of land and energy and fertilizer. My side yard is running out of space and me out of energy !
Plus fertilizer for all my iris gets expensive!
That is why I am" trying" to be good with the number of new iris this year. The last 2 years I had over 100 each year.

Cory ,nice order.
Hope your Ambition comes to fruition over the next few years.

I've already ordered from MA, but I might have to add Draw The Line. Pretty! But I'm spending too much. This thread certainly feeds the addiction. Sticking tongue out

From MA:
TBs:
Simply Said: Pure light pink and white. Every time I looked at it, I said, "Gosh, that is so pretty."
https://wiki.irises.org/TbPthr...

Garden Appeal: Pink and orangy-yellow
https://wiki.irises.org/TbFthr...

Having A Party: An older intro. Has a sweet fragrance. Smiling

Medians:
SDB Touch Of Turquoise: white with turquoise (of course!) and pronounced sweet fragrance.
https://wiki.irises.org/Sdb/Sd...

SDB Feeling Pretty: Pastel peachy/yellow with a spicy fragrance. Described as having larger flowers than normal for SDBs.
https://wiki.irises.org/Sdb/Sd...

IB Nonconforming Presence: Slightly broken color--pastel citrus and white with purplish tip on falls. Bright orange beard and pronounce sweet fragrance. Smiling
https://wiki.irises.org/Ib/IbN...

BB When I Grow Up: I got a lot of citrus colored ones!
https://wiki.irises.org/Bb/BbW...

I also ordered one iris from Doug Kanarowski, who has a beautiful cream, white and light yellow iris with a sweet fragrance:

Annie's Coconut Cream Pie

(not yet listed in iris encyclopedia)
http://www.mariposairis.com/ma...

Those are my orders...for now!
